Terms of Service

1. Introduction and Acceptance

DailyPlay.com (the "Service") is operated by GreatGamesNetwork ApS, a company registered in Denmark.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including guests (unauthenticated users) and registered account holders. Please also review our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

In these Terms, "Service" refers to DailyPlay.com, its games, features, and all associated services provided by GreatGamesNetwork ApS.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • Users aged 13 to 15 require parental or guardian consent to use the Service.
  • Users aged 16 and older may use the Service independently.
  • You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
  • If you register an account, the information you provide must be accurate and up to date.

3. Account Registration and Security

  • Account registration requires an email address and a username.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must not share your login credentials or transfer your account to another person.
  • Guest users have limited functionality. Game data for guests is stored only in the browser's local storage and is not saved on our servers.
  • You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. The Service

DailyPlay provides daily puzzle games that reset at midnight in a configured timezone. Each day features one puzzle per game, generated deterministically.

The Service tracks your game progress, including scores, streaks, game completions, experience points, and levels. You can share your results using emoji grids that do not reveal puzzle solutions.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service with reasonable notice.

5. DailyPlay+ Subscription

  • DailyPlay+ is an optional premium subscription that provides enhanced features.
  • Pricing is as displayed on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
  • Payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, a third-party payment provider. By subscribing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: Refunds are subject to Lemon Squeezy's refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws.
  • EU consumers retain the statutory right of withdrawal (14 days for digital content, with exceptions per Directive 2011/83/EU).

6. User Conduct and Fair Play

You agree to the following rules when using the Service:

  • You must play games personally. The use of bots, scripts, or automated solvers is prohibited.
  • You must not exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities in the Service.
  • You must not reverse-engineer game logic or puzzle generation algorithms.
  • You must not interfere with other users' experience of the Service.

Game completions are recorded and validated server-side. Scores, streaks, and statistics are derived from server-recorded data.

Violations of these rules may result in one or more of the following actions: a warning, a reset of your statistics, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account. We may investigate suspected violations and take action at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All game content, designs, puzzles, and the DailyPlay brand are owned by GreatGamesNetwork ApS or its licensors.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Shared results: When you share game results (emoji grids, scores), you grant DailyPlay a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, transmit, and format those results within the sharing feature.

You retain ownership of your own game statistics and results. No reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of game content is permitted without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not warrant that the Service will be merchantable, fit for a particular purpose, or non-infringing. We make no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any game content. We are not responsible for the services or practices of third parties such as Lemon Squeezy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • GreatGamesNetwork ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • We shall not be liable for loss of data, game progress, or service interruptions.
  • Our total liability is capped at the greater of: (a) the amounts paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100).

These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GreatGamesNetwork ApS, its officers, directors, and employees against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service.

When Terms are updated, re-acceptance may be required through our terms versioning system. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you disagree with any changes, you may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account.

12. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time.
  • You may request account deletion by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
  • Upon termination, account data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, payment records retained for tax compliance).

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.

If you are an EU consumer, you retain the benefit of any mandatory provisions of consumer protection law in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
